How do you create a resume?

A sample resume is already created for you; it’s called “Hello World!”  In your dashboard, go to “Resume” posts and select edit under “Hello World!”  From this window you may type your resume or paste your plain text format resume in the window.  Or you may go to the ‘html’ tab and paste your Word format resume.

How do I change my layout/appearance?

You can change the overall look or appearance of your resume site by going to Appearance and go to Resume Templates.  You may select a template of your choice.  Each template allows for different features.  Some templates have the ability to include widgets on your resume site and others do not.

How do I add a widget?

Depending on the template selected, you may find available widgets under Appearance.  Drag and drop the selected widget to the column on the right.

How do I change my password or email address?

Go to Users and then to “Your Profile”.  You can change your name, your contact information, about me summary and password.  To save your changes, select Update Profile on the bottom of the page.  You can also update your contact information

How do I change my name as it appears at the top of the page?

Go to Settings and then General.  You can change your name and how it appears at the top of the page.  Also, you can change your email address for administrative purposes, time zone and how time is displayed.

What if I don’t want everyone to see my resume?

Go to Settings and then Privacy.  You can change your privacy so it is no longer accessible to the public.
